Jacek Pyżalski - co-ordinator of "We CAN!" project


Pedagogy specialist, PhD in education, Łódź University 2002; since 2001 working at the NC WHP, involved in many research and implementation projects regarding attitude toward health and health promotion of specific professional groups, author of many articles and books regarding discipline/obedience, stress and burn-out prevention, innovative and effective ways of teaching. Participated as a manger and co-worker in various research and implementation projects concerning health promotion and education, including several EU projects.


Kamila Knol

M.A. in pedagogy (Łodz University, 2010), involved in research and projects regarding attitude toward health and health promotion, and internet mediated communication. Author and co-author of articles regarding new media usage and cyber ethics. Working at the National Centre for Workplace Health Promotion Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine in Lodz, member of Northern Dimension-Partnership in Public Health and Social Well-being. Participant of Fisrt Training School in Australia entitled: “From research to policy and practice : Innovation and sustainability in cyberbullying prevention” and Second Training School in Finland entitled: “Adolescents and Social Media Interventions: Methodological Issues, and Guidance and Coping Strategies for Cyberbullying”.



Piotr Plichta

M.A. in Special Education (1996, University of Lodz)  and Ph. D. in Education (2004, University of Lodz). Member of National Center for Workplace Health Promotion in Nofer Institute of Occupational Medicine in Lodz and Lecturer in The Pedagogy Academy in Lodz. Author and co-author of approximately 50 scientific publications (mainly on professional stress and burnout, education and rehabilitation of the intellectually disabled, ICT usage and cyberbullying). Teacher trainer. Research leader and team member in national as well as international grants. Member of Board in Polish Educational Society (Lodz Section) and in Lodz Educational Society. Mediator in Law Court in Lodz.

M.Sc. in Physics (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki, Greece), Ph. D. candidate in computer modeling. Involved in projects and research regarding data mining, mechanical properties of materials via indentation, ICTs, bullying and cyberbullying. Author of articles regarding cyberbullying in Greece. Member of the M.C. of the European cost program ISO801 in cyberbullying and member of the board of the Social Pediatrician Union in Greece.   Participant in the First Training School in Australia entitled: “From research to policy and practice : Innovation and sustainability in cyberbullying prevention” and the Second Training School in Finland entitled: “Adolescents and Social Media Interventions: Methodological Issues, and Guidance and Coping Strategies for Cyberbullying”.

 Anthoula Maidou

Anthoula Maidou has obtained her diploma in Architecture and a MA in Education and Psychology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her current interests include education, the internet as an educational means, cyberbullying, virtual architecture, computer arts and graphics. She works currently as an upper secondary school teacher in Thessaloniki.  



                             
                     
                               Hariton Polatoglou

Hariton Polatoglou has obtained a BSc in Physics and a MSc in Physical Electronics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. At the same university he completed his PhD Thesis on the electronic properties of binary compounds with an average valence of 5. As a post-doc he worked at the Institute for Solid State Research in Stuttgart, Fritz Haber Institute in Berlin, Physical Chemistry Department at Cambridge and Materials Science Department at Oxford. His current research interests include the study of the electronic and mechanical properties of semiconductor nanoscale systems, the thermodynamic properties of metallic alloys and their defects, study of surfaces, transport in mesoscopic systems with methods ranging from semiempirical to ab-initio.  Furthermore, he is also interested in science education, ICT in education, assistive technologies, cyberbullying. He holds the position of an Associate Professor in Theoretical Solid State Physics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Jūratė Skūpienė
Ph.D in Informatics (Vytautas Magnus University, 2010), involved in research and projects about teaching computer science and programming at secondary school level. Involved in National, Baltic and International Olympiads in Informatics for pupils in secondary education. Participant of several projects involving work with gifted pupils, teacher training, technology enhanced learning in secondary education. Currently employed in Mykolas Romeris University and Vilnius International School where implements on-line safety projects.


                                 
                                   Antanas Valantinas

PhD in Psychology (Vilnius university, 1985). Lecturing and researching in psychology, specific field of interests – Educational Psychology. Since 1990, the main activities and responsibilities, leading positions held are related with Educational Psychology and Education policy analysis : 1990-1995 , director of Schools Psychological Service Centre at the Ministry of Culture and Education of Lithuanian Republic, 1996-2002 director of Vilnius Psychological Pedagogical Service, 2002—2004 head of the Department of Psychology at Vytautas Magnus University, 2004 – 2009 leader of  Education Policy Analysis at Education Development Centre, since 2009 up to now – head of Department of Policy Analysis at National Agency for School Evaluation, Associated professor in psychology at Mykolas Romeris University.

Vilma Zivile Jonyniene

Ph.D in Education  (Vytautas Magnus University, 2000). The main research interest– Children‘s Rights and Welfare, started  with  pionering Children’s Rights International Study Project  (CRISP) in 1993 (duration- 15 years).  Since 2001 assoc.prof. at the Mykolas Romeris University (MRU).  A  leader  of preparation and implementation of  new  MA study program  on Children‘s Rights, approved for MRU  in 2006.  University representative  for  European  network of Masters in Children’s Rights, ENMCR.



                       Rasa Erentaitė

Rasa Erentaitė is a lecturer and PhD student at Psychology Department of Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius (Lithuania). She is interested in the study of adolescence, including  adolescent behavior in the cyber space. She has been involved in research  on cyberbullying and has published on cyber victimization of Lithuanian  adolescents.

Postgraduate Courses related to Clinical Criminology and Legal Psychology - Italy

                        Luca Pisano

Luca Pisano, psychologist psychotherapist, from 1997 is the Director of the Master in Clinic Criminology and Legal Psychology IFOS, in Cagliari, Sassari, Taranto, Rome and Ancona. Consultant for the Scholastic Department of the province of Cagliari, and technical consultant (court-appointed) for the Civil and Juvenile Court in Cagliari, and for the Criminal Court in Tivoli (Rome). Author of several publications about the discomfort during the developmental age, he conducts research in collaboration with the Universtity Pontificia Salesiana about this kind of discomfort. Member of the project COST - Cyberbullying, from 2009 is  responsible for the projects of education to legality (bullying, cyberbullying and risky netsurfing), all these projects have been sponsored by the city of Cagliari - Department for Education.


                      Valeria Cadau

Valeria Cadau, educationist and psychology graduate, is technical consultant (court-appointed) for the Civil and Juvenile Court in Cagliari. Responsible for the service “Child Contact Centre - IFOS (Quartucciu)”, from 2009 is also consultant for the Department of Education of Cagliari for all themes related to bullying, cyberbullying, risky netsurfing and also for the projects of education to legality. From 2010 is professor of “Psychology of the developmental age” and of “Theory and technique for the management of protect meetings” among the Master in Clinic Criminology and Legal Psychology IFOS in Cagliari, Sassari and Taranto; is also family consultant.
Administrator of the society LVM–Easy Mediation, that run the body of civil and commercial mediation number 750,  recognized by the Ministry of Justice.



Simone Masala

G.R.V.K.: Educational Role Playing Games
Founder and President of “GRVK Company” since 2002, roleplaying games designer since 1996.
Organizes educational games in schools and in social working, live roleplaying events, seminars for teachers and “family games” in schools to prevent bullism.
Designs “innovative games rooms” for schools, for sperimental use of games in educational environment.
Various collaborations with games companies in Germany (videogames and live roleplaying games) and Italy (board and roleplaying games).
Works with IFOS since 2009.


                                 Augusto Collini

Augusto Collini, air force officer, now pensioner, is a "parent peer educator". From 2009 in Cagliari he has organised many training course about bullying, cyberbullying and risky net surfing, which are addressed to parents.
